The schema editor is exactly what I was looking for – I want to able to edit the schema directly, I want auto complete and validation. What I wasn’t expecting was a visualiser that makes sense. I’ve seen several attempts ay visualising XML schema, and this one is the only one I might actually use. Now, if I could just find a way to get it to generate sample XML files…
Back on the blog
Been a while since my last post. This week’s mini adventure has been upgrading to the latest version of iTunes. The upgrade itself was as easy as expected. But then other accounts on my Mac couldn’t access the shared library. In this version of iTunes you can hold down the command key when launching (like iPhoto) to select the library. To share my music library among multiple users on one Mac, I had moved the library to a shared area and used symbolic links from each user’s account. When I upgraded the shared library file had been moved back to my account. So, I moved the file back and everything worked again. However, with the new version it looks like the symbolic links aren’t necessary. Which is nice.
