Software versioning goes to Hollywood

This week I’ve noticed posters for the new Die Hard movie.  In Europe it’s called Die Hard 4.0 (looks like its called Live Free Or Die Hard in the US.)  Interesting to see films adopt a software versioning strategy for their numbering.  I’m wondering if the director’s cut will be called Die Hard 4.1.  Of course, the sensible among us won’t go to see it until Die Hard 4.5 SP1 is released.
